We're pleased to announce our March event will be held on Wednesday the 21st, back at our regular venue in the Freemasons' Hall (close to Holborn, Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Temple stations).
Tickets are available at Eventbrite. You must buy in advance to guarantee entry on the night.
Roger Warner, Chairman at the DMA UK Social Media Council, will be telling us what social media can learn from Mad Men, and we'll also hear from Caroline Howes from Playmob. As usual, Iskandar Najmuddin from Syncapse will get us up to date with the latest Facebook platform updates since our last event in February.
Freelance developer and our secretary Dave Nattriss will cover the hottest apps and pages on Facebook, and starting everything off, FDGL Chairman and host for the evening Todd Chaffee will give us a quick update on general Facebook news.
We’ll have our new ‘show and share’ section later on where you can give a quick talk/demo about whatever you’ve been working on - just sign up on the board at the front of the talk room to share anything Facebook or social media related with the audience. You can talk for up to two minutes, and can show slides from your computer if you’ve got a VGA connection, or use a browser on ours.
Couldn't make it last time or never been before? Here's a quick video report giving you a flavour of the event - there's much more information (including video recordings and slides from most of the talks) on our website:
Our events often sell out within days, so be quick to buy your ticket(s). We'll have beer, wine, juice and pizza, possibly some Facebook swag, and will go for after-drinks at O'Neills across the road for those that want to wind down afterwards.
If you miss out on or can't make this one, we look forward to seeing you at our next event, expected to take place on Thursday 26th April 2012.
As always we are grateful for the sponsorship of our events - thanks to our sponsors Gamaroff Digital. If your organisation is interested in sponsoring us, please e-mail for more information.
